This month’s Ransmussen polls show Obama ahead on all main domestic issues such as health care, education, and the economy. In addition, polls show that the American public is now placing its trust with the Democrats on issues of Foreign policy such as Iraq and Immigration where, in earlier polls, Republicans heald a stronger lead.
The Gallup poll suggests that voters are more likely to vote for Senator Obama based upon his economic tax plans whereas more voters now have an unfavorable view of Senator McCain's economic policies. In addition, Americans believe that McCain did not deliver a strong and effective argument to knock-out Obama in their second of three presidential debates.
RealClearPolitics.com which tracks state-wide opinion polls, had more bad news for the McCain campaign suggesting that Georgia, a typically Republican southern state, is no longer a sure-fire win for the Republicans moving with Minnesota and New Hampshire into the pockets of the Democratic camp.
